This is a remote position.
A Manager 1 owns entire client portfolios at House of LDGERS. The role holds the primary client relationship, is accountable for portfolio KPIs (delivery quality, timeliness, retention), and supervises the Assistant Managers and teams delivering the portfolio. Manager 1 is the first level at which full portfolio P&L-style accountability sits with the individual.

Portfolio Ownership
• Own entire client portfolios end-to-end: delivery, relationship, commercials, and performance.
• Be accountable for portfolio KPIs: delivery quality, timeliness, client satisfaction, retention, and recovery.
• Allocate resources, manage capacity, and resolve cross-team conflicts within the portfolio.
Senior Client Relationship
• Hold the primary client relationship for assigned portfolios.
• Act as a strategic advisor on financial reporting and process matters.
• Drive client satisfaction through quality delivery, timely communication, and proactive issue resolution.
• Lead client review meetings; present financial outputs and insights.
Team Leadership
• Lead and develop AMs, Senior Associates, and Associates within the portfolio.
• Set clear performance goals; provide regular feedback and coaching.
• Conduct performance evaluations; contribute to compensation and promotion decisions.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
Delivery Quality & Performance Monitoring
• Ensure financial statements meet accuracy, completeness, and compliance standards.
• Monitor team performance metrics; identify and address gaps.
• Apply review-level judgement on complex matters.
Operational Excellence
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance operational effectiveness.
• Mitigate operational risks through robust internal controls and policies.
• Drive consistent application of LDGERS SOPs across the portfolio.
Fees & Recovery
• Ensure accurate invoicing and timely payment collection from portfolio clients.
• Monitor collection targets; provide updates on outstanding payments to senior management.
• Address client queries and disputes related to fees promptly.
• Achieve recovery rate targets aligned with firm benchmarks.
Stakeholder Communication
• Communicate regularly with senior management and cross-functional teams.
• Provide updates on portfolio performance, risks, and opportunities.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (CA, ACCA, CPA)
strongly preferred.
• 7–8 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role (AM or
equivalent).
• Demonstrated full ownership of client portfolios with measurable KPIs.
• Strong commercial awareness and senior-client engagement experience.
