Responsibilities
Position SummaryÂ
Responsible for the overall leadership and strategic management of the PeopleSoft platform, including development, production support, integrations, security, and ongoing optimization. This role partners closely with Accounting, Finance, Treasury, and other business stakeholders to deliver stable, scalable, and compliant PeopleSoft solutions that align with enterprise priorities.Â

The role provides functional, technical, and operational leadership to internal teams and external contractors, ensuring best practices, system reliability, and continuous improvement of PeopleSoft FSCM modules.Â

Key Responsibilities:
Â
Platform Ownership & GovernanceÂ
- Own the overall PeopleSoft FSCM platform, including Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Asset Management, Lease Administration, and related modulesÂ
- Ensure system stability, performance, security, compliance, and audit readinessÂ
- Drive standardization and reduction of technical debt and unnecessary customizationsÂ
- Establish and enforce governance, change management, and release management processesÂ

Leadership & Team ManagementÂ
- Lead and manage PeopleSoft development, functional, production support, and vendor teamsÂ
- Set priorities, delivery expectations, timelines, and escalation pathsÂ
- Provide technical and functional oversight, review designs, and approve solution approachesÂ
- Mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing and process maturityÂ

Business Partnership & Stakeholder EngagementÂ
- Act as the primary PeopleSoft liaison for Accounting, Finance, Treasury, Tax, and Operations stakeholdersÂ
- Lead requirements gathering, fit‑gap analysis, and solution design discussionsÂ
- Translate business needs into sustainable PeopleSoft solutionsÂ
- Serve as the escalation point for critical business and system issuesÂ

Solution Design & Delivery OversightÂ
- Provide oversight for PeopleSoft solution design, including:Â Â
- Application customizationsÂ
- System integrationsÂ
- Workflow and approval frameworksÂ
- Reporting and security configurationÂ
- Ensure adherence to PeopleSoft best practices and organizational standardsÂ
- Oversee unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deploymentsÂ
Â
Production Support & OperationsÂ
- Own application support processes including incident management, root cause analysis, and long‑term remediationÂ
- Oversee production changes, data fixes, access management, and audit controlsÂ
- Ensure proper documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base maintenanceÂ
- Proactively monitor system health and performanceÂ

Strategic & Future‑State ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Define and execute the PeopleSoft future‑state operating modelÂ
- Support ERP roadmap initiatives including automation, integration, and modernization effortsÂ
- Partner with leadership on vendor strategy, support models, and multi‑year planningÂ
- Aligning PeopleSoft capabilities with enterprise finance and IT strategyÂ

Qualifications
Required QualificationsÂ
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experienceÂ
- 10+ years’ experience managing PeopleSoft FSCM applications in a complex enterprise environmentÂ
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial business processesÂ
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and third‑party vendorsÂ
- Experience with application governance, change management, and audit/compliance controlsÂ

Preferred QualificationsÂ
- Experience leading ERP or PeopleSoft modernization initiativesÂ
- Familiarity with integration, AI automation, and reporting tools supporting finance platformsÂ
- Experience working in regulated or highly controlled environments (SOX, audit support)Â
