Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled MAWM Configuration & Integration Developer to join our offshore engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical configuration, custom extension, and seamless integration of Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM) into our broader enterprise supply chain ecosystem. You will partner closely with onshore solution architects, functional analysts, and downstream system owners to build robust integrations between MAWM and ERPs, Order Management Systems (OMS), and Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
Key Responsibilities
-
System Configuration: Configure baseline MAWM functionalities, including inbound receiving, putaway, wave planning, order allocation, picking, packing, and shipping rules to meet business requirements.
-
Integration Development: Design, build, and deploy RESTful APIs, Webhooks, and event-driven integrations to connect MAWM with external enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Sterling OMS, automated material handling systems).
-
Data Mapping & Transformation: Develop complex JSON/XML data mappings and translation logic using enterprise middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, or native cloud services) to ensure accurate data flow across the supply chain landscape.
-
Cloud-Native Extensibility: Utilize the Manhattan Active extensibility framework to build custom UI components, create user exits, and develop custom logic without altering base code.
-
Testing & Validation: Conduct comprehensive API testing using Postman/SoapUI. Create technical unit test scripts and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.
-
Offshore Collaboration: Work closely with onshore functional teams and technical architects in an Agile environment. Participate in daily stand-ups, technical design reviews, and sprint planning during designated overlap hours.
-
Production Support & Triage: Act as a technical escalation point for L3 production defects, actively monitoring integration logs, troubleshooting message failures, and applying code fixes.
Required Qualifications
-
Experience: 4+ years of hands-on technical experience with Manhattan Associates WMS platforms, with a minimum of 1-2 years specifically focused on Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM).
-
Integration Expertise: Deep understanding of API-led connectivity, REST/SOAP web services, JSON, XML, Webhooks, and OAuth security protocols.
-
Supply Chain Domain: Strong foundational knowledge of warehouse operations, MHE integration (WCS/WES), and end-to-end supply chain data flows.
-
Technical Stack: Proficiency in SQL, basic scripting (Python or JavaScript), and utilizing API testing tools (Postman).
-
Cloud Literacy: Understanding of cloud-native architectures, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), given MAWM’s underlying infrastructure.
-
Communication: Excellent English communication skills with a proven track record of successfully collaborating with global, cross-functional teams across multiple time zones
