Key Responsibilities: - Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers in selecting meat products and answering any inquiries they may have. - Ensure the meat display is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing to attract customers. - Monitor product quality and freshness, removing any items that do not meet company standards. - Assist in the preparation, packaging, and labeling of meat products according to store policies and health regulations. - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the meat department, including equipment and work areas. - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and support department goals. - Stay informed about product offerings and promotions to effectively communicate with customers. - Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Meat AttendantRequired Education: - High school diploma or equivalent. Required Experience: - Previous experience in a retail or grocery store environment, preferably in the meat department. - Familiarity with meat processing and handling equipment. Required Skills and Abilities: - Strong customer service skills with the ability to assist customers in selecting meat products. - Knowledge of meat cuts and preparation techniques. - Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the meat department. - Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers. - Ability to lift and carry heavy items, such as meat products and supplies, as required. - Basic math skills for weighing and pricing meat products accurately.
