About the role  
At IDX Victoria we are seeking an experienced full-time MRI Supervisor to provide clinical leadership, operational oversight, and workforce development across multiple MRI sites within the East Metro Melbourne region.  
 
This is a full-time position primarily based at our Vermont Private Hospital with flexibility to travel to our other MRI sites within the Region including Camberwell, Cheltenham and Hawthorn- FMIG.

Reporting to the MRI Manager and Regional Manager, this role ensures high-quality imaging standards, optimised workflows, safe, compliant practices, while supporting advanced MRI services and continuous improvement initiatives across a diverse fleet of MRI systems and vendors. 

The position plays a key role in driving clinical excellence, supporting staff training and assessment, and standardising MRI practices across sites.

To Be Successful You’ll Need  

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in MRI 
  • Demonstrated leadership and team development experience 
  • Experience managing or supporting multi-site MRI services (desirable) 
  • Advanced MRI clinical expertise across multiple systems/platforms 
  • Strong understanding of MRI operations, workflow, and quality systems 
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills 
  • Multi-vendor MRI experience (Siemens, GE, Philips) 
  • Bachelor of Medical Imaging (or equivalent)  
  • AHPRA Registration and Radiation Use License  
  • SMIRT MRI Accreditation (Level 1 minimum) 
  • Ability to work the required rostered hours for this position 
  • Ability and willingness to travel between sites within the region
