About this role:   
As an OB/GYN physicianĀ with Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.   

  • You willĀ join a newlyĀ formingĀ obstetrics & gynecology practice in Billings, Montana, employed by the Intermountain Medical Group.Ā Ā 

  • As an OB/GYN generalist, your schedule will include a mix of clinic, surgical andĀ inpatientĀ responsibilities.Ā Ā Flexible scheduling, including potential for part time status, is available.

  • Call expectation will be an average of 6 12-hour shifts per monthĀ (ie. 1:10).Ā 

  • CallĀ is takenĀ restricted whereĀ you’llĀ serve as an OB/GYN Hospitalist. Primarily spending your time in Labor & Delivery, you will also provide care in theĀ EDĀ supporting patients thatĀ have obstetric or gynecology needsĀ while on service.Ā Ā 

  • Anesthesia in house and available 24/7Ā 

  • MFM clinic onsite and available 24/7 for telehealth consult.  

  • You’llĀ become part of our women’s health network, connecting you to other women’s health providers across the Mountain West and locally to certified nurse midwives, gynecologic oncologists, urogynecologists, and allied health providers like pelvic floor physical therapists.Ā Ā 

  • St Vincent is a large regional referral centerĀ thatĀ welcomes an average ofĀ 1,800 deliveries annually. With a level III NICU, we provide care to patients at allĀ levels of acuityĀ &Ā lengthsĀ of gestation. We are a designated Baby-Friendly Hospital, rankingĀ in the top 3% of hospitals for Obstetrics and top 1% for Women's Services by Women’s Choice Awards Best Hospitals 2025.Ā Our surgical center is home to 3 Da Vinci Robots (XI & DV5).Ā WeĀ areĀ excitedĀ to beĀ relocatingĀ to aĀ newly builtĀ facility in 2029.Ā Ā

HowĀ we'llĀ support you:Ā 

  • For full time, you’llĀ be paid aĀ guaranteedĀ annual salary ofĀ $369,000.00,Ā with opportunity forĀ additionalĀ pay for productivity.Ā Ā 

  • You will receive a starting bonus ofĀ $25,000.00,Ā andĀ relocationĀ assistanceĀ up toĀ $20,000.00.Ā 

  • Eligible for up toĀ $100,000.00Ā in student loanĀ assistance.

What you’ll bring:   

  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine   

  • ACGME accredited residency training in OBGYN   

  • Board certification or eligibility in OBGYN   

  • Active, unobstructedĀ Montana medical license, or the ability to obtain one   

  • Federal DEA Registration  

  • BLS certification  

  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
