What You'll Do

As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide skilled, resident-centered therapy focused on improving functional abilities, independence, and quality of life.

Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.

  • Provide skilled interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), strength, coordination, and functional independence.

  • Utilize appropriate therapeutic modalities to support treatment and optimize resident outcomes.

  • Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as needed.

  • Collaborate with nursing, therapy, physicians, residents, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.

  • Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic strategies, safety techniques, and home programs.

  • Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary meetings as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

  • Current California Occupational Therapist (OT) license or eligibility for licensure.

  • Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and teamwork skills.

  • Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care.

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative rehabilitation environment.
