Overview

Amyx is seeking an OIM Developer to support the Defense Logistics Agency by providing advanced development, integration, sustainment, troubleshooting, and modernization support for enterprise Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) solutions.

his position serves as a senior technical resource responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) solutions and related identity technologies. The role works closely with application teams, systems engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and government stakeholders to implement identity lifecycle management capabilities, integrate enterprise applications, and support modernization initiatives aligned with Department of Defense enterprise identity objectives.

The successful candidate will possess extensive experience developing and supporting Oracle Identity Management solutions, building custom integrations and workflows, and delivering secure, scalable identity services within large enterprise or federal government environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, configure, and maintain Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) solutions supporting enterprise identity lifecycle management.
  • Design and implement custom workflows, adapters, connectors, reconciliation jobs, and provisioning solutions.
  • Integrate enterprise applications with ICAM platforms using standard and custom interfaces.
  • Support onboarding of new applications into the identity management ecosystem.
  • Develop and maintain custom code supporting identity governance and access management requirements.
  • Troubleshoot complex identity, provisioning, authentication, and application integration issues.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, deployment procedures, and operational guides.
  • Support system upgrades, platform enhancements, and modernization initiatives.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, database, cybersecurity, and application teams to resolve technical challenges.
  • Participate in testing, validation, deployment, and production support activities.
  • Support compliance, audit, and access governance activities.
  • Provide technical leadership and recommendations regarding identity architecture, integration patterns, and modernization strategies.
  • Research emerging technologies and recommend improvements supporting DLA enterprise identity capabilities.
  • Must have the ability to communicate accurate information

Qualifications

Required:

  • Sensitivity Level: Non-Critical Sensitive
  • DoD 8140 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+ CE)
  • 7+ years of professional software development, systems integration, or engineering experience.
  • 7+ years of experience developing, implementing, or supporting Oracle Identity Management solutions.
  • Experience supporting Oracle Identity products within OIM, OAM, and SOA-based environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java development and enterprise application integration.
  • Experience developing custom workflows, adapters, connectors, reconciliation processes, and provisioning solutions.
  • Experience integrating enterprise applications with identity and access management platforms.
  • Experience supporting identity lifecycle management, access governance, and account provisioning processes.
  • Experience with Oracle Database, SQL, and enterprise middleware technologies.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex application, provisioning, and integration issues.
  • Experience developing technical documentation, design specifications, and implementation procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain an IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive (Tier 3/T3) determination prior to onboarding.

Desired:

  • Experience supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Department of Defense (DoD), or other federal government customers.
  • 10+ years of software development, systems integration, or Identity and Access Management (IAM/ICAM) experience.
  • Experience with Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) customization and advanced development.
  • Experience developing custom connectors, adapters, APIs, event handlers, and application onboarding solutions.
  • Experience with Oracle Access Manager (OAM), Oracle SOA Suite, and enterprise middleware technologies.
  • Experience with WebLogic administration and deployment.
  • Experience supporting Oracle Identity and Access Management platform upgrades, migrations, or modernization initiatives.
  • Experience supporting enterprise identity modernization efforts, including migration, transformation, or integration with Department of Defense enterprise identity services.
  • Experience supporting Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions within large enterprise environments.
  • Experience integrating enterprise applications with federated identity services.
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense enterprise identity initiatives and architectures.
  • Experience supporting Zero Trust implementation efforts and identity-centric security models.
  • Experience with application onboarding, access governance, role engineering, and process automation.
  • Experience supporting RMF-authorized environments and cybersecurity compliance activities.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and a general understanding of cloud-based technologies, applications, and services.
  • Experience working in Agile, DevSecOps, or modern software delivery environments.
  • Experience leading technical initiatives, mentoring developers, or providing technical leadership across project teams.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), CISSP, CISM, Security+, or identity and access management certifications.
