About the Role
One of the most rewarding ways to launch and grow your career with KARL STORZ is by joining our Onsite Endoscopic Specialist (OES) team. In this hands-on, customer-facing role, you will support advanced surgical technologies directly within a hospital setting, helping ensure that clinical teams have the equipment, instruments, and resources they need to deliver exceptional patient care.

As an OES, you will work closely with Operating Room (OR), Sterile Processing (SPD), and Biomedical Engineering (BioMed) professionals, serving as a trusted partner and technical resource. From supporting surgical procedures and troubleshooting equipment to managing instrument readiness and repairs, you will play a critical role in keeping operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do
- Provide day-to-day support to Operating Room, Sterile Processing, and BioMed teams to ensure equipment availability and surgical readiness.
- Set up, inspect, and support KARL STORZ video towers, integrated systems, and endoscopic equipment used during surgical procedures.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues in real time and coordinate repairs, replacements, or service exchanges to minimize disruptions.
- Transport, clean, sterilize, inspect, and prepare surgical instruments in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Monitor equipment performance, manage repair workflows, and maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to instrument and device status.

What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in sterile processing, surgical technology, medical device support, healthcare services, sales, or other clinical environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and reporting tools.
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the role, including lifting and moving equipment up to 25 pounds.

Nice to Have
- Associate's degree.
- CRCST certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Experience supporting surgical instruments, endoscopic equipment, or medical devices.
- Familiarity with operating room procedures, sterile processing workflows, or hospital environments.
