Job Summary/Overview:

The Operations Coordinator will support the day-to-day activities of the Operations Manager, including administrative responsibilities and coordination of field-related projects. This role will help ensure projects are properly scheduled, tracked, and completed while supporting a high level of customer service.

Core/Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with coordinating the scheduling of field projects.

  • Assist with project scheduling, tracking, and status updates.

  • Coordinate with the Operations Supervisor to address customer concerns and ensure timely resolution.

  • Assist with tracking employee hours and report any discrepancies to the Operations Supervisor.

  • Communicate with the Operations Supervisor regarding the status of permits, HOA approvals, PTO, and other project-related requirements.

  • Prepare documents, reports, and other materials requested by management.

  • Submit and track PTO cases as required.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records and documentation.

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Operations Manager and Operations Supervisor.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • All other duties as assigned.



Requirements

Requirements, Education, Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Fluency in both English and Spanish, spoken and written.

  • Ability to work effectively with others in a collaborative team environment.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency with computer systems and standard office software.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Knowledge of Sunrun processes is preferred but not required.

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal skills

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Previous administrative experience preferred.

  • Previous customer service experience preferred.

  • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment


Physical Demands and Working Conditions

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.

  • Occasionally walk, stand, bend, stoop, and move throughout office, warehouse, and project areas as needed.

  • Travel to residential and commercial project sites when required.

  • Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments and under varying weather conditions.

  • Safely navigate construction and solar installation sites, including uneven surfaces and areas with tools, equipment, and construction materials.

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials or equipment weighing up to 15 pounds occasionally.

  • Use standard office equipment, including computers, telephones, and other electronic devices.

  • Must follow all applicable company and job-site safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
