Principal PLM Solution Architect – Oracle Cloud

JOB SUMMARY:

A Delivery Architect at Argano is a highly experienced consulting professional who provides solution leadership on mid-to-large client engagements and contributes to practice growth. They thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and deliver high-quality, cutting-edge Oracle Cloud solutions to Argano's clients.

The Oracle Cloud PLM Delivery Architect guides clients through all phases of Oracle PLM Cloud implementation, owns the overall enterprise cloud solution, and serves as a trusted advisor to client executives – regularly engaging with director- and VP-level stakeholders to shape strategy and demonstrate solution value. The successful candidate will have completed five or more successful Oracle Cloud implementations and will lead, mentor, and guide a team of solution/workstream architects and consultants.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leads mid-to-large, complex consulting projects, often simultaneously, including Oracle SaaS requirements workshops, solutions architecture, and design discussions.
• Applies in-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud Applications and industry best practices to consult with clients on cost-effective solutions to business scenarios.
• Leads the implementation team in building the overall enterprise cloud solution, spanning technical and functional components, and extends Oracle SaaS footprints through PaaS and other custom integrations.
• Analyzes current systems and data to identify new requirements, and maps enterprise requirements across the Oracle SaaS suite.
• Leads, mentors, trains, and guides a team of workstream architects and consultants across Oracle Cloud PLM engagements – not solely as an individual implementer, but as the owner of team direction and delivery quality.
• Identifies and applies creative approaches to resolving implementation and integration obstacles, and develops long-term client strategies.
• Acts as the primary point of contact for clients, including director- and VP-level stakeholders, keeping all parties informed of progress, challenges, and changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Engages stakeholders in the estimation process and supports business partners in presenting solution value.
• Collaborates with third-party vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements to secure the best terms for the client.
• Presents compelling, quantified business cases and monitors implemented solutions, recommending updates as needed.

MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or similar.
• MBA, relevant master's degree, or PhD preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 10 years of experience as an Oracle Functional consultant, including 3+ years leading solution design for PLM Cloud implementations.
• Demonstrated experience leading a team of workstream architects on Oracle Cloud PLM engagements, not solely serving as an individual workstream architect.
• Expert-level experience as an Oracle Cloud Architect implementing or supporting Oracle Cloud implementation projects and upgrades.
• Experience with Oracle Platform as a Service (PaaS), including Integration Cloud Service and Database Cloud Service.
• Knowledge of and experience with Web Services, including Oracle Cloud-delivered Web Services (SOAP & REST).
• Expert consulting and business analytical skills to gather and document business requirements, lead fit-gap analysis, design business processes, manage conference room pilots (CRPs), perform functional configuration, and manage testing of PLM solutions.
• Experience navigating the challenges of working with cross-border and diverse teams and projects.
• Understanding of best-practice product lifecycle management processes and/or new product development/introduction requirements.
• Expert-level experience with one or more of the following Oracle Cloud Applications: Product Development, Product Data Hub, Innovation Management, Quality Management, Project Management.
• Proven experience guiding clients through business process improvements.
• Established track record building and maintaining relationships with client director- and VP-level stakeholders.
• Ability to write functional specifications based on user requirements.
• Senior, professional, and adaptable under pressure – comfortable independently handling client expectations, with a positive attitude and willingness to travel as needed.
• Consulting experience in a similar role at a professional services firm, or equivalent industry experience at a strategic level.
• Creates a positive team environment by managing workloads while meeting client expectations.
