As aĀ Patient Access Associate in Central Scheduling & Financial Clearance, you connect with patients before their visitāscheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and helping them understand what to expect financially. Your work ensures fewer surprises, smoother visits, and a better experience for patients and care teams alike.Ā
Youāre a key link between patients, providers, and payers, bringing clarity, accuracy, and empathy to every interaction.Ā
What Youāll Do:Ā
Schedule and coordinate patient appointments across clinic and hospital servicesĀ
Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations as neededĀ
Review and confirm demographic and financial informationĀ
Explain financial responsibility, estimates, and payment optionsĀ
Assist patients with financial assistance or referrals when appropriateĀ
Communicate with clinical teams to ensure visits are financially clearedĀ

Strong customer service and communication skillsĀ
Attention to detail and comfort working with insurance and financial dataĀ
Ability to explain complex information in a clear, patient-friendly wayĀ
Minimum Requirement:Ā
High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)Ā
