Job Description

TSPi is seeking Pega Developers at multiple career levels to support current and anticipated opportunities with our government clients. This pipeline posting will allow us to identify candidates for positions aligned with their experience, education, certifications, and technical capabilities.

Our Pega Developers design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise workflow and case management solutions using the Pega Platform. Responsibilities may range from completing development tasks with guidance to leading complex technical initiatives and serving as a technical advisor.

Position Responsibilities

Responsibilities will vary by level and may include:

  • Design, configure, test, deploy, and maintain applications using the Pega Platform.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into effective Pega solutions.
  • Develop workflows, case management capabilities, business rules, user interfaces, data models, reports, and integrations.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and support testing, deployment, upgrades, and production maintenance.
  • Collaborate with architects, analysts, testers, DevOps professionals, and client stakeholders in an Agile environment.
  • Ensure solutions meet performance, security, accessibility, scalability, and maintainability requirements.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow Pega development standards and best practices.
  • At more senior levels, lead technical efforts, determine solution approaches, mentor developers, and establish technical standards.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Experience developing or supporting applications using the Pega Platform.
  • Knowledge of core Pega capabilities, including case management, application and class structure, rule configuration, data modeling, data pages, and user interface development.
  • Experience translating requirements into application functionality.
  • Experience with REST, SOAP, or other integration technologies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot applications using Pega diagnostic tools and logs.
  • Understanding of software development, testing, deployment, and Agile practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to obtain the suitability screening or Public Trust required by the applicable client, which may include fingerprinting.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred qualifications may vary depending on the level and specific opportunity:

  • Pega certification, such as CSA, CSSA, or CLSA.
  • Experience with advanced Pega configuration, performance optimization, security, testing, or platform upgrades.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, automated testing, CI/CD, or DevOps tools.
  • Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility requirements.
  • Experience with Pega Robotics or Robot Manager.
  • Experience supporting federal government or other highly regulated clients.
  • Experience leading technical projects, mentoring developers, or establishing technical standards.
  • Experience with cloud architectures, enterprise integrations, or large-scale modernization initiatives.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline required.

  • Pega Developer 4: Bachelor’s + 9 years, Master’s + 7 years, or PhD + 4 years of experience ($95,600-$152,000)
  • Senior Pega Developer: Bachelor’s + 12 years, Master’s + 10 years, or PhD + 8 years of experience ($110,000-$175,000)
