Collaborates with cross-functional teams, manages risks and progress, and ensures alignment with the University’s priorities and stakeholder expectations. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESĀ 

1. Manage project executionĀ throughout the full project life cycleĀ to ensure adherence toĀ defined scope, schedule, and resource constraintsĀ Ā 

2. Develop andĀ maintainĀ a WorkĀ BreakdownĀ StructureĀ (WBS)Ā and associatedĀ projectĀ planning artifacts.Ā Ā 

3. Direct or coordinate activities ofĀ cross-functionalĀ projectĀ team members.Ā Ā 

4. PrepareĀ and deliverĀ projectĀ status reportsĀ and performance updates to stakeholders.Ā Ā 

5. Develop and implement a stakeholder-informed communication plan tailored to project needs.Ā Ā 

6. Adhere to Liberty University policies,Ā representingĀ the University in an exemplaryĀ and professionalĀ manner.Ā 

7. WorkĀ effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU’sĀ Christian model and Mission – Training ChampionsĀ for Christ.Ā

1. Manage projects and related tasks within a product or functional area, ensuring delivery within schedule and resource constraints using established project management tools.Ā Ā 

2. Build andĀ maintainĀ collaborative relationships with stakeholders to support project goals.Ā 

3. Maintain and collaborate on roadmap planning for product or service portfolios.Ā Ā 

4. May oversee the workload of a functional or product team and contribute to performance evaluations byĀ monitoringĀ progress, offering feedback, and supporting resource planning.Ā Ā

QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALSĀ

Project Manager IIIĀ 

1. Mid-levelĀ technicalĀ experience;Ā with transferableĀ knowledge ofĀ project delivery tools, systems, or businessĀ processes.Ā Ā 

2. SolidĀ understanding of project management methodologiesĀ such as Agile or Waterfall.Ā 

3. Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related field, or equivalent experienceĀ isĀ required.Ā 

4. CAPM, CSM, or PSM IĀ Ā 

5. 3-4+ years of projectĀ managementĀ or relatedĀ professionalĀ experienceĀ isĀ required.Ā Ā 

6. Experience working with teams with chat assistive technologies is helpful.

Pay Range

Compensation is determined based on factors such as qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, along with University needs and external market conditions. Market benchmarks may be used, as appropriate, in combination with internal equity to ensure pay is fair and aligned with the broader compensation structure.


The position may also be eligible for comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and tuition assistance.
