Sales & Reservations Coordinator

About the Position

The Wave Condado is seeking a Hospitality Relations Specialist to join our team. This is a hands-on position supporting hotel sales, reservations, marketing initiatives, and guest relations.

The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, proactive, and sales-oriented, with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for hospitality. This person will help generate business, build 

relationships, assist guests and clients, and contribute to increasing the hotel's visibility and business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Respond to and follow up on sales, group, corporate, and reservation inquiries.
2. Build and maintain relationships with companies, organizations, and business partners.
3. Follow up on leads and assist in converting inquiries into confirmed bookings.
4. Prepare quotes, proposals, and group contracts.
5. Assist with corporate, group, VIP, and extended-stay reservations.
6. Handle direct reservation inquiries by phone and email, while providing friendly and professional service.
7. Maintain accurate client, reservation, and guest information in hotel systems.
8. Assist with marketing initiatives and local partnerships that increase awareness and visibility of the hotel and generate business opportunities.
9. Work closely with the Front Office team to communicate special requests and important guest information.
10. Assist with VIP and group arrivals when needed.
11. Support the team with special hotel activities and other operational needs as required.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel sales, reservations, front office, guest relations, or a similar hospitality position.
2. Previous hotel experience preferred.
3. Strong customer service and communication skills.
4. Organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
5. Comfortable using computers and learning hotel systems.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Professional, friendly, and positive attitude.
8. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Schedule

Full-time, hourly position. Flexibility may be required for weekends, evenings, holidays, and special hotel activities based on business needs.
