POSITION SUMMARY

The Salesforce Technical Architect provides enterprise architecture leadership and owns platform governance across application teams for a Salesforce Center of Innovation.

You will guide a team to review designs, coordinate enterprise-level changes, bring new teams onto the platform, and keep the standards and guidance current. The role carries real authority over how the platform evolves, and it depends on being able to influence teams you do not manage.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Architecture Leadership

  • Provide enterprise Salesforce architecture leadership spanning security, data modeling, integration patterns, scalability, release practices, and solution design.
  • Review technical designs and guide application teams toward secure, reusable, supportable, and scalable solutions.
  • Set and maintain platform standards and best-practice guidance so teams build consistently.

Governance

  • Coordinate enterprise-level Salesforce changes and document them before implementation in line with Center of Innovation governance processes.
  • Implement and maintain enterprise configuration and security policy across orgs.
  • Lead governance changes

Build and Prove

  • Provide development oversight on enterprise-level work.
  • Develop proofs of concept that mature the platform and demonstrate new approaches to application teams.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 10 years of relevant experience in enterprise IT, Salesforce, or closely related technical services.
  • Salesforce Certified System Architect or Salesforce Certified Application Architect.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government background investigation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce security, scalable data modeling, integration patterns and middleware, source control, release management, and deployment technologies.
  • Experience with Salesforce Government Cloud or other FedRAMP environments.
  • Experience governing a multi-org Salesforce footprint across independent application teams.
  • Prior federal or public sector experience.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

The team operates against contract service levels for change coordination and documentation, application team onboarding, dormant application disposition, and certificate renewal ahead of expiration. Specific targets are reviewed during onboarding.

WORK LOCATION

Primarily remote within the contiguous United States. Occasional on-site support at customer facilities may be required, along with limited off-hours availability for releases, outages, and critical incidents.

DPCG is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to hiring and developing the most qualified individuals based on merit, experience, and business needs, without regard to any protected status under applicable law.
