Security Architect

This is a remote position.

Security Architect

This position will support all aspects of systems and networking, with a primary focus on leading Microsoft Azure cloud platform operations, including Azure system administration and engineering, within the IT Infrastructure and Operations team.

• Develop cloud architecture and lead technical discussions for Microsoft Azure.
  
• Lead cloud security, privacy, and compliance decisions.
  
• Support migration of on-premises applications and services to Azure.
  
• Provide technical guidance and mentor architects and engineering staff.
  
• Stay current with technical developments and best practices related to Microsoft Azure and other cloud platforms.
  

Requirements

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field.
  
• 5+ years of relevant experience may be substituted for the formal education requirement.
  
• Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Security Operations Analyst, or Security Administrator.
  

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform, including security, firewalls, Key Vault, Service Bus, ASR, networking, OMS, Blob Storage, Resource Groups, NSGs, Application Insights, SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, and Load Balancers.
  
• 5+ years of experience with AWS Cloud Platform, including cloud architecture, administration, resource allocation, security, and network connectivity.3+ years of experience creating technical documentation.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with on-premises to cloud migrations.
  
• Experience supporting and managing hybrid cloud environments and operations.
