Premier Research is looking for a Senior Change Orders Associate to join our Proposal & Contracts team.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Promote commercial and operational success through collaboration with operational departments to ensure appropriate budget development for all clinical change orders.

  • Effectively interfaces with the Business Development group, Finance group, the Contract Development group, Global Project Managers, and Regional Project Managers to achieve an accurate and appropriate budget.

  • Effectively manages the budget development lifecycle for Change Order budgets, as needed, throughout the study.

  • Ensures appropriate contributors are involved, sets budget development schedule, coordinates and collates input to meet final budget timelines; identifies, assess, resolves and/or escalates issues as needed

  • Prepares appropriate resource/service fees using algorithms and electronic spreadsheets, which may also include assisting in departmental reviews, analyzing final costs and providing feedback to appropriate stakeholders for input

  • If requested, works with Business Development or Project Management to interact with or present Change Order budget to customers

 What We Are Searching For:

  • ​​Undergraduate degree or its international equivalent preferably in the Sciences or Business Administration/ Marketing, from an accredited institution   

  • ​Minimum of five year’s relevant industry experience, which includes a minimum of three years’ experience in the budget development process   

  • ​Demonstrates an understanding of CRO services, including knowledge of the processes and procedures for conducting a clinical trial, to ensure the production of an appropriate Final or Change Order budget  

  • ​Good mathematics skills, including ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages; and the ability to apply basic concepts of accounting and finance   

  • ​Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and Word   

  • ​Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities  

  • ​Excellent organizational, communication and time-management skills, able prioritize work to meet deadlines
