Kapres Technology is seeking a Senior Developer COBOL to support a multinational client in the logistics sector.
Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of COBOL development experience, preferably with Microfocus.
Experience with IMFirst, Pro*C, Oracle DB, and Linux/UNIX is considered a plus.
The position is global, requiring some overlap with US Eastern and Manila, PH time zones for team meetings.

At Kapres Technology, we are looking for a Senior Developer COBOL Microfocus to join a multinational client that is a leader in the logistics sector.

• 10+ years COBOL Microfocus development

• Must have Microfocus COBOL

• Must have logisitics/WMS experience

• Want to try and find someone that worked for Ingram Micro and has experience on IMFirst itself - this is the tall ask and not a deal breaker, but helpful if they have

Pro*C & Oracle DB experience is a plus
Linux/UNIX O/S experience is a plus
Location: Global, is not a factor - but will need overlap with US Eastern and Manilla, PH for team meetings and reviews
Needs to bring an open mind and an ability to dig into code for answers
Needs to be self-starter and motivated
Experience with JIRA and GitLab (or equivalent tools)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Start Date: ASAP
