    We are hiring an Senior Occupational Therapist  for a leading Nursing Home in Dublin, Ireland.
- Act as Lead Occupational Therapist within their designated service area and provide professional leadership across Bartra Healthcare Occupational Therapy Services.
- Be responsible for maintaining high standards of Occupational Therapy practice and clinical governance within areas of responsibility.
- Support the Director of Allied Health in the planning, development and evaluation of Occupational Therapy services.
- Promote evidence-based practice, innovation and continuous service improvement.
- Participate as a lead clinician in multidisciplinary meetings, case conferences, family meetings and care planning reviews.
- Communicate assessment findings, intervention plans and recommendations effectively to patients, families, multidisciplinary teams and other relevant professionals.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation in accordance with professional, CORU legal GDPR and organisational standards.
- Contribute to recruitment, induction and retention of Occupational Therapy staff.
- Support staff in managing complex clinical cases and decision-making processes.
- Promote reflective practice, professional accountability and continuous learning.
Requirements
Hold a recognised Occupational Therapy qualification approved by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU and maintain current registration with the Occupational Therapists Register.
Have a minimum of 3 years’ full-time post-qualification clinical experience, with 3–5 years preferred for the role.
Demonstrate at least 2 years’ relevant experience in the care of older persons, rehabilitation, acute medicine, or stroke rehabilitation.
Demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and professional ability to work effectively at Senior Occupational Therapist level, including autonomous caseload management.
Have previous experience supervising Staff Grade Occupational Therapists, Therapy Assistants, and Occupational Therapy students.
Hold a full driving licence and have access to a car, with strong IT, clinical documentation, and communication skills.
Postgraduate qualifications or additional training in rehabilitation, older persons care, or orthopaedics, together with leadership, management, or mentoring experience, would be advantageous.
