Job DetailsJob Location: Oka Store - Tamuning, GU 96913Position Type: Full TimeJOB PURPOSE: Reporting to the store manager, the store shift supervisor’s primary responsibility is to supervise the daily operations of the store ensuring excellent customer service is provided to all customers, training, directing, and effectively supervising staff.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.   Assists in executing and ensuring product knowledge, advertising, policies, procedures, and regulations are communicated to store management and department supervisors through staff meetings, regulated training, daily contact and through delegation. Assists in managing a team of 50 to 120 employees. Displays customer service skills and ensures staff mirrors same skills. Responds to customer questions and assists as necessary. Assists in directing the operational activities in all departments when needed. Assists in product placement, maintaining inventory levels and equipment through management team. Assists in overseeing orders and merchandise received. Ensures store is neat, orderly, and sanitary at all times. May assists in meetings with all regulatory officials, answers appropriately and performs a sequence of inspections throughout the store. Report findings to store manager. Analyzes problems and concerns to develop more efficient, less costly, and better ways to conduct business. Assists in conducting physical inventories and prepares reports. May be assigned to assist in preparing reports as required relative to profits and losses. Assist in overseeing on-the-job training on any protocols and/or equipment in the area. May assist or hold department meetings as needed and as scheduled. Assist with performance evaluations. Interview job applicants, hires and terminates as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
