Overview

Planned Systems International (PSI) is an Enterprise IT services company who focuses on designing, building, securing, and operating cutting-edge software solutions that drive mission success and operational excellence for Federal Government organizations. PSI is currently seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to support The Tactical Assault Kit/Team Awareness Kit (TAK) Product Center (TPC). The individual will work alongside senior team members to ensure the reliability, security, scalability, and performance of the TAK CI/CD pipeline and its critical systems and infrastructure. The individual will also assist in developing and implementing automation solutions to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor system health, responding to incidents, and preventing future issues.
  • Contribute to cost-savings strategies, performance optimization, and the continuous improvement of our DevOps practices.
  • Patch systems proactively to increase reliability and properly document all changes.
  • Write reports, development notes, and wikis for supporting documentation.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active T3 investigation, with the ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances as required for access to classified information.
  • Current CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • Bachelor degree in computer science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.
  • 3+ years technical experience in systems/network administration.
  • Experience with Linux and cloud computing (AWS preferred).
  • Experience with containerization to optimize cloud use.
  • CI/CD pipeline system experience and familiarization with relevant artifacts, and products.
  • Zero Trust implementation experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
