As a Project Manager within our PMO, youāll play a key role in turning strategy into execution. Youāll lead projects end to end, partnering closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver outcomes that meet financial, timeline, and quality goals.Ā

Key ResponsibilitiesāÆĀ
Own projects from inception, including defining project scope, objectives, governance, and success criteria from the ground upĀ Ā
Establish and maintain all project artifacts (e.g. charter, project plans, schedules, budgets, risk & issue logs, status reports)Ā Ā
Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and PMO standardsĀ Ā
Define priorities, timelines, resources, and dependencies in collaboration with stakeholdersĀ Ā
Proactively manage risks, issues, and change throughout the project lifecycleĀ Ā
Coordinate cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to ensure effective executionĀ Ā
Communicate progress clearly through regular status updates and stakeholder reportingĀ Ā
Drive consistency, quality, and continuous improvement in project delivery and processes utilizing AI toolsĀ
āÆĀ
Required Skills & ExperienceāÆĀ
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools to include Smartsheets, Jira, copilotĀ
Experience with using AI tools for business and project managementĀ
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile delivery modelsĀ Ā
Experience with business and process designĀ Ā
Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skillsĀ Ā
Proven leadership, coordination, and problem-solving capabilitiesĀ Ā
Strong business acumen and ability to navigate changeĀ Ā
Self-starter mindset with confidence managing conflict and ambiguityĀ
Ā
āÆQualifications:āÆĀ
Bachelorās degree or equivalent practical experienceĀ Ā
2+ years of experience in project managementĀ Ā
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneouslyĀ Ā
Exposure to third-party delivery models and vendor managementĀ Ā
Experience with process improvement initiatives is a plusĀ
Ā
PreferredCertificationsĀ
PMP or Prince2 certificationĀ
Process improvement certifications (CMMI, CBPP, ISO 9001)Ā
Ā
Compensation at Pearson is influenced by factors including skill set, experience, and location.Ā
Ā
The full-time salary range for this role is $80,000 - $95,000
.Ā
