We are seeking aĀ Sr Software Engineer - QEĀ toĀ design, develop, andĀ maintainĀ test automation frameworks andĀ testsĀ suites for our web/mobile applications. Ensuring application quality through exploratory testing and by creating robust test scripts, integrating into build pipelines, and collaborating with development teams throughout the SDLC, focusing on both UI/functional and API testing.Ā

- Contribute to the design and development of responsive, accessible web-based learning tools used globally by learners and educators.Ā
- Own endātoāend delivery: discovery, technical design, development, automated testing, deployment, and production support.Ā
- Collaborate with product and engineering teammates to translate requirements into scalable solutions and iterative roadmaps.Ā
- Shape architecture and standards; improve SDLC with infrastructureāasācode and monitoringāasācode.Ā
- Promote best practices to ensure quality, performance, security, resiliency, and maintainability.Ā
- Build actionable observability (dashboards, alerts) in New Relic; define SLOs and drive operational excellence.Ā
- Contribute to a culture of extreme ownership, share knowledge across teams and mentor other engineers.Ā

WhatĀ youāllĀ need to be successfulĀ
- Bachelorās degree in related field or equivalent experienceĀ Ā
- 5+ years of experience in software quality engineering with a strong focus on test automation.Ā
- Proven experience building and scaling automated test coverage in CI/CD-driven environments.Ā
- Strong programming skills in languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java.Ā
- Experience testing modern web applications and iOS applications.Ā
- Hands-on experience with API testing, includingĀ GraphQLĀ and REST.Ā
- Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium/XCUITest).Ā
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).Ā
- Solid understanding of SDLC processes and Agile methodologies.Ā

- Experience testing backend systems built with GolangĀ
- Strong understanding ofĀ GraphQLĀ schema validation and contract testing.Ā
- Experience implementing automation as part of release gating and quality metrics.Ā
- Familiarity with microservices-based architectures and distributed systems.Ā

- Design, implement, andĀ maintainĀ scalable automation frameworks for web UI, iOS, and backend services.Ā
- Integrate and enforce automated test execution within CI/CD pipelinesĀ asĀ release quality gates.Ā
- ValidateĀ GraphQLĀ APIs, including schema integrity, queries, mutations, and error handling.Ā
- Monitor test results in pipelines and drive rapid triage and resolution of failures.Ā

- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve testability and increase automation adoption.Ā
- Partner with product and DevOps teams to align automation coverage with release milestones.Ā

The pay range for this position is between $114,000 - $134,000Ā annually. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
