ADVANCE YOUR CAREER. ADVANCE THE WORLD.

At AMD, we believe technology can change lives for the better. It can heal us, entertain us, and make us more connected, productive, and understanding of the world around us. And we’re looking for talent who feel the same: people who want to leave the planet better than they found it, those who don’t shy away from humanity’s challenges but are determined to help solve them.

AMD is powering the next generation of supercomputing, high-performance computing, cloud, and AI. Whether you’re designing next-gen processors, enabling AI breakthroughs, or creating go-to-market plans, every role at AMD contributes to something bigger — technology that moves the world forward.

THE ROLE:

As a Sr. Manager, AI Storage Solutions you will help shape AMD’s next‑generation Data Center AI infrastructure solutions.

You will serve as a product management subject‑matter expert, working closely with customers and internal engineering teams. As part of AMD’s Data Center Solutions Product Management team, you will bring structure and execution discipline to a complex and rapidly evolving landscape.

This is a hybrid work opportunity and an individual contributor role (not people management), based in Austin TX or Santa Clara CA with potential for Seattle WA as well, and relocation may be available for an exceptional alignment of background and preferred experience.

THE PERSON:

You bring deep experience across storage and broad experience across data center GPUs, memory, CPUs, networking, and AI workloads, along with strong communication and strategic thinking skills. You are self‑directed, comfortable operating through ambiguity, and able to influence across organizations without direct authority.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own and manage strategic storage solutions aligned to AMD’s AI and Data Center Solutions strategy
  • Evangelize AMD's storage technologies
  • Translate customer insights into clear product strategies and requirements
  • Lead cross‑functional initiatives
  • Represent AMD in standards bodies and industry forums where applicable

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in the computing industry (OEM, ODM, CSP, or Semiconductor)
  • Strong background in storage technologies for data centers
  • Familiarity with AI workloads, infrastructure, and software stacks
  • Experience with industry standards organizations (e.g., JEDEC, SNIA)
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage multiple initiatives
  • Background in product management, systems engineering, or architecture‑driven roles

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA preferred

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
