Position Overview 

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Level 4 Automated Driving System (ADS) programs, coordinating cross-functional teams across perception, localization, prediction, planning, controls, simulation, safety, validation, and vehicle integration. 
  • Translate product and system objectives into an executable program plan, ensuring alignment from concept and prototype development through vehicle deployment and production readiness. 
Key Responsibilities 
  • Own the integrated program roadmap, scope, milestones, resources, budget assumptions, dependencies, and execution cadence. 
  • Drive technical and program alignment among software, AI, systems engineering, functional safety, cybersecurity, validation, homologation, manufacturing, and vehicle teams. 
  • Manage system-level requirements, interface dependencies, ODD-related assumptions, integration maturity, and evidence required for technical and release gates. 
  • Identify and drive closure of technical risks, safety-critical issues, schedule gaps, supplier dependencies, and cross-team blockers. 
  • Coordinate validation strategy and readiness across simulation, software-in-the-loop, hardware-in-the-loop, proving-ground, and on-road testing. 
  • Manage external technology partners and suppliers, including deliverables, acceptance criteria, change control, and escalation. 
  • Provide concise program status, decision papers, risk escalation, and recovery plans to engineering and executive leadership. 
  • Coordinate distributed and multinational engineering teams across time zones and organizational boundaries. 


Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline. 
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in automotive software, ADAS, autonomous driving, robotics, or closely related systems. 
  • Minimum 5 years in Technical Program Management, Engineering Program Management, Systems Leadership, or equivalent cross-functional delivery roles. 
  • Demonstrated program delivery experience on at least SAE Level 3 automated driving systems or higher; Level 4 program experience is strongly preferred. 
  • Strong working knowledge of Automotive SPICE (ASPICE), including experience planning, governing, or delivering ASPICE-compliant development and assessment activities. 
  • Good understanding of ISO 26262 Functional Safety, ISO 21448 SOTIF, automotive cybersecurity, systems engineering, and safety-oriented release governance. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior executives, engineering leads, suppliers, and international partners in English. 
Preferred Qualifications 
  • Experience delivering an ADS/ADAS product to production, fleet operation, or a controlled commercial deployment. 
  • Experience at a leading autonomous driving, ADAS, automotive OEM, Tier 1, robotics, or mobility technology company. 
  • Experience with L4 vehicle platforms, redundant E/E architecture, sensor integration, compute platforms, remote assistance, fleet operations, or driverless safety cases. 
  • Experience leading multinational teams and complex partner ecosystems. 
  • PMP, PgMP, SAFe, Scrum, or equivalent program/agile certification is a plus.
