Our client is a leading manufacturer and converter of cellular foam,rubber and plastic film products. We are seeking a Technical SalesRepresentative to join their East London team. The companymanufactures, converts and supplies products to the construction, automotive,mining and general secondary industries.
Responsibilities
- Sell a range of manufactured and specialised products made up to customer specification so that continuous growth can be experienced in existing markets and to ensure expansion into new markets.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Appropriate Sales/ Marketing diploma or equivalent
- 2 years sales experience in a foam plastics environment or similar technical selling environment or industry.
- Calling on customers
- Establishing technical requirements specific to customer needs
- Liaising with client and factory regarding W/order requirements
- Good product knowledge and good communication skills
- Computer literate i.e. MS office/computer (Word, excel, Syspro etc)
- Valid driver’s license is essential
- Doing additional duties as deemed necessary
