How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Own the end-to-end management of assigned strategic technology suppliers, establishing relationship strategies, governance plans, stakeholder alignment, and clear accountability for service performance, commercial value, risk management, continuous improvement, and business outcomes.
  • Lead commercial and contract-management activities throughout the supplier lifecycle, including analyzing and administering SOWs, amendments, service levels, pricing, deliverables, and other obligations; lead or support complex sourcing events, renewal strategies, negotiations, and dispute resolution in partnership with Procurement, Legal, Finance, and business and technology leaders.
  • Monitor supplier performance, financial and commercial results, contractual compliance, and material risks through accurate scorecards, obligation trackers, risk and issue logs, and trend analysis; identify gaps and drive timely remediation, improvement plans, commercial recoveries, and supplier-led innovation.
  • Lead recurring governance forums, strategic reviews, and executive escalations; synthesize complex performance, contractual, financial, and risk information into concise executive-ready materials, recommendations, decisions, and follow-up actions while maintaining trusted relationships with enterprise and supplier leadership.
  • Operate independently across multiple complex priorities with exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, urgency, and follow-through; maintain complete and accurate documentation, coordinate cross-functional dependencies, improve supplier-management processes, and escalate material issues appropriately.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Certification credentialed from the International Association of Information Technology Asset Managers preferred.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

What additional requirements you'll need

  • Experience managing complex technology outsourcing or managed-service-provider relationships, particularly application development and maintenance services within healthcare or another highly regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated contracting and strategic sourcing experience, including competitive sourcing events, supplier evaluation, development and negotiation of SOWs and amendments, SLA and pricing analysis, renewals, and contractual dispute or remediation support.
  • Exceptional written and verbal executive communication, analytical and commercial judgment, and a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, build consensus, and deliver accurate results autonomously in a complex, highly matrixed environment.
