Test Lead - Automation

API Automation • Design, develop, and maintain API automation test frameworks using Karate Framework, REST Assured, and related automation tools. • Create and execute automated test scripts for REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, and backend integrations. • Integrate automated API test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. • Validate API functionality, schema, performance, security, and data integrity across distributed applications. • Collaborate with developers, DevOps teams, and business analysts to define test strategies and acceptance criteria. • Implement test reporting, logging, and quality metrics using tools such as Allure, Extent Reports, and SonarQube. • Perform root cause analysis of defects, troubleshoot test failures, and support production releases. • Ensure automation frameworks follow coding standards, reusability, scalability, and enterprise QA best practices. • Required Skills: Karate Framework, API Testing, REST/SOAP Services, JSON/XML, Java, SQL, Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, Agile/Scrum; experience with cloud
