We’re looking for a warm and friendly social volunteer who speaks Greek to enjoy relaxing afternoon visits with a lovely lady. She delights in watching the Greek channel on TV and loves browsing the shopping channels like TVSN, and she’d truly enjoy sharing these moments with someone who understands her language and culture.

Your visits could include chatting in Greek, watching a favourite show together, or simply keeping her company and brightening her afternoon.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements

18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare •

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
