VP, SBA Business Development Officer

Banesco USA is seeking an SBA Business Development Officer for our SBA Sales business unit.

Primary Job Duties:

• Proactively source and originate high-quality SBA 7(a) and USDA B&I loans.
• Build and maintain a robust referral network.
• Perform preliminary credit analysis to ensure loan requests meet both internal credit policy and government agency eligibility requirements.
• Structure complex deals involving real estate acquisitions, equipment financing, debt refinancing, and partner buyouts.
• Manage the loan process from initial intake through to the issuance of a commitment letter, working closely with underwriters and closers.
• Act as a brand ambassador, attending industry events and maintaining a strong presence in the local business community.

 Job Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of direct experience in SBA/USDA loan origination.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Comprehensive understanding of the SBA 7(a) SOPs, as well as USDA Business & Industry (B&I) program guidelines.
• Ability to analyze business financial statements, personal tax returns, and cash flow projections (Global DSC).
• Production Track Record: Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed annual production targets.
