PAY: $17.50 / hour
Schedule: 20-Hours Per Week for 8 weeks (between the months of June - August 2026)
Locations:
- Arthur Christopher Community Center - 265 Fishburne Street
- St. Julian Devine Community Center- 1 Cooper Street
- Shaw Community Center - 20 Mary Street
*Applicant must be a high school student and least 16 years of age by hire date.*
This role will learn about municipal recreation operations and engaging the community in a variety of activities.Â
Examples of Duties:
- Works at an assigned recreation facility:
- Helps with set up of chairs, tables, supplies and equipment in designated areas for scheduled day camp activities.Â
- Under supervision, assists in arts and crafts, games, and other structured activities.Â
- Provides support on camp on field trips and outings.Â
- Assists with answering questions and communicating with parents.Â
- Monitors children to ensure orderly conduct.Â
- Performs other duties as assigned.
 Basic Qualifications:
- Available to work 20 hours per week for 8 weeks (between the months of June - August 2026)
- Current high school student
- At least 16 years of age by hire date
