Part-Time Evening Cleaner – Wokingham

We are currently recruiting for a reliable Part-Time Evening Cleaner to work at a High Street Bank in Wokingham town centre.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering a regular one-hour evening shift Monday to Friday with no weekend work. The position would suit someone living or already working locally who is looking for additional part-time hours.

Working Hours

• Monday: 5:30pm – 6:30pm
  
• Tuesday: 5:30pm – 6:30pm
  
• Wednesday: 5:30pm – 6:30pm
  
• Thursday: 5:30pm – 6:30pm
  
• Friday: 5:30pm – 6:30pm
  
• Saturday & Sunday: No work
  
• Total: 5 hours per week
  

Pay

£13.65 per hour

Requirements

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the premises.

Duties will include:

• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
  
• Cleaning customer-facing and staff areas
  
• Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
  
• Wiping and sanitising surfaces and touchpoints
  
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste
  
• Replenishing consumables where required
  
• General cleaning duties throughout the premises
  
• Ensuring the site is left clean, tidy and presentable
  

Requirements

Due to the position being based within a banking environment, successful applicants will be required to complete the necessary pre-employment screening, including:

• Basic DBS check
  
• Adverse financial check
  
• Right to Work verification
  
• Required employment history/information
  
• Previous cleaning experience preferred
  
• Reliable and punctual
  
• Comfortable working independently
  
• Comfortable with potential key-holder responsibilities and using an alarm panel
  
• Able to use a telephone-based time and attendance system
  
• Able to commit to the full Monday-to-Friday shift pattern
  

Temp to Perm Opportunity

The position will initially be supplied through Concept Resources, with the opportunity to become a permanent member of the cleaning team following a successful temporary period.
