WVUHS Medical Group seeks a PRN General Surgery Physician. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in the primary location of Petersburg, West Virginia.āÆĀ

Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the area of general surgery to provide weekend call coverage from Friday at 4PM through Monday at 8AM.Ā Ā

Qualifications: Successful candidates must have an MDor DO degree or foreign educational equivalent and be eligible for state medical license.āÆApplicants must have completed a General Surgery Residency program. Applicants must be board certified or eligible in General Surgery. All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.Ā Ā
Founded in 1958, Grant Memorial Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital located in Petersburg, West Virginia. The hospital serves a multi-county area with a wide range of healthcare services, including a 24/7, 13-bed Emergency Department; Surgical Clinic; Orthopedic Clinic; Podiatry Clinic; Cancer Center; Primary Care Clinic; Wound Care services; and the only Birthing Center in a five-county region.
