Baptist Health is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Rapid Response team at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville (Downtown). This opening is a PRN Nights 7:00 PM-7:00 AM.Â
Registered Nurse (RN), Rapid Response Responsibilities:
- This role is a critical member of the clinical team responsible for monitoring patients for early signs of deterioration, responding promptly to rapid response calls,
- Educating nursing staff on recognizing and managing patient decline.
- This role ensures patient safety through proactive surveillance and clinical expertise
- Assisting the primary RN with admission, discharge and transfers as needed
- Completing the admission assessment and skin check for all new admits
Experience Requirements:
- 3-5 Years Critical Care Experience Required
- 1-2 years Acute Care Nursing Experience Required
- Nursing Education Experience
Education & Credential Requirements:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
- Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Preferred
- Licensed Registered Nurse Required
- NIHHS certification (upon hire/transfer)
- Level 1 CPI training (within 90 days of hire/transfer)
