Scope of Position:
The Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Department houses various multidisciplinary programs and services that focus on primary and secondary prevention and rehabilitation, including:
- Inpatient Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation at UH/Ross/James
- Outpatient Pulmonary Rehabilitation at Martha Morehouse, West Region (Ross) and Outpatient Care East, East Region
- Outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation at Outpatient Care Upper Arlington, West Region (Ross) and Outpatient Care East, East Region
This position will provide respiratory therapy diagnostic/assessment or therapeutic respiratory therapy procedures for patients in the pulmonary rehabilitation program and provide consultation to other programs with customers who have respiratory therapy needs.
Position Summary:
Assesses the need for, and provides diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care procedures for customers in pulmonary rehabilitation and provide consultation to other programs in the Cardiopulmonary Rehab department.
Minimum Education Required
2-Year College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Additional Education Desired
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications
Graduate of a 2 or 4 year school of Respiratory Therapy approved by the Ohio Respiratory Care Board. Must comply with the Ohio Respiratory Care Board licensure guidelines
