Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Law School Career Development Office

Student Assistant


The Law School’s Career Development Office (CDO) seeks an undergraduate student assistant for approximately 4 hours per week during the fall 2026 semester. The student assistant role will provide clerical support and complete other duties as assigned.   

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

  • Greeting visitors to the CDO and answer main telephone.
  • Submit job postings in the career database (LawQuest) and update employer records.
  • Provide general clerical support.
  • Operate basic office equipment.
  • Assist team members with various projects including job fairs/interview programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned projects while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
  • Must be an initiative-taker and can prioritize workload.
  • Discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.

HOURS:

Tuesdays, Thursdays, and every other Friday from 12:00 – 1:15 p.m. There may be an opportunity for additional hours on an as needed basis.
