Job Details: Job Location: New Mexico Highlands University - Las Vegas, NM, Position Type: Part Time - Reg, Education Level: High School or GED, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Category: Student, Position Summary:The Work-Study Warehouse Aide assists with accepting, receiving, coordinating and distributing packages, letters and materials through the New Mexico Highlands University campus.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Receiving of incoming packages from USPS, UPS and FedEx.- Operate all Central Receiving and Post-Office automated systems.- Delivery of packages to designated departments.- Assist with moving furniture, equipment, and boxes as needed.- Maintains regular attendance.- Follow university policies and workplace safety guidelines.-Perform other related duties and assigned. Qualifications: Qualifications:- Must be eligible for Federal Work Study through the university's Financial Aide Office.-Current enrollment as a student at the university.- Ability to provide quality customer service.- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.- Basic computer skills preferred.Physical Requirements:- Sitting.........-Occasionally- Bending------Frequently- Standing-----Frequently- Walking------Frequently- Squatting----Frequently- Kneeling-----Frequently- Climbing-----Frequently- Lifting/carrying up to (fifty) 50 pounds------Frequently- Lifting/carrying over (fifty) 50 pounds-------FrequentlyPay Rate: According to university work-study guidelines.Work Schedule: Flexible around class schedules. up tp the maximum hours permitted by the Work-Study Program
