School Bus Aide (Part-Time) – Support Students & Make a Difference
Location: Lino Lakes, MN

Rehbein Transit, operating under Minnesota Coaches, is a school transportation company proudly serving the Lino Lakes and Forest Lake communities since 1917. We are known for our strong safety culture, professionalism, and team-first environment.

We are currently hiring School Bus Aides to support safe and positive transportation experiences for students, including those with special needs.

What You’ll Do

• Assist students with safely boarding and exiting the bus
• Secure seat belts, harnesses, and wheelchairs as needed
• Provide support to students with special needs during transport
• Monitor student behavior and maintain a safe, orderly environment
• Communicate with the driver regarding student needs or concerns
• Provide reassurance and support to students throughout the ride
• Assist in emergency situations, including evacuations if required
• Help maintain a clean and safe bus environment
• Build positive relationships with students, families, and team members

Schedule & Flexibility

• Part-time, flexible scheduling (typically 25 to 30 hours per week)
• Split shift opportunities with morning and afternoon routes
• Additional hours may be available based on routes and needs
• Ideal for retirees, stay at home parents, and those seeking meaningful part-time work

What You’ll Need

• Minimum age: 18
• Enjoy working with children and creating a supportive environment
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and assist students as needed
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and patient in a variety of situations
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to pass background checks and required screenings
