Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Solar O&M Technician with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in the Operation & Maintenance of rooftop and ground-mounted Solar PV power plants. The candidate should have strong electrical troubleshooting skills, knowledge of solar equipment, and a valid Wireman / Supervisor Licence.

The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, plant monitoring, troubleshooting, safety compliance, and travel to project sites as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of rooftop and ground-mounted Solar PV systems.
  • Inspect PV modules, string inverters, ACDBs, DCDBs, transformers, HT/LT panels, cables, earthing systems, and electrical equipment.
  • Monitor plant performance through SCADA and remote monitoring systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults to ensure maximum plant availability.
  • Supervise module cleaning and scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Record daily generation data, breakdown reports, maintenance activities, and site observations.
  • Coordinate with the Asset Manager for preventive maintenance, breakdowns, shutdowns, and reporting.
  • Follow EHS, electrical safety, PTW (Permit-to-Work), and LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures.
  • Maintain tools, testing instruments, spare parts, and site maintenance records.
  • Support commissioning, testing, performance evaluation, and site audits.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping and safety standards at project sites.
Salary: Up to ₹35,000 CTC per month

Requirements

  • ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Valid Wireman / Supervisor Licence is mandatory.
  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Solar PV O&M.
  • Experience with rooftop and/or ground-mounted solar power plants.
  • Good knowledge of Solar PV systems, string inverters, ACDB, DCDB, transformers, HT/LT panels, cables, and earthing systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret SLDs, electrical schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Basic computer knowledge for maintenance reporting and documentation.
  • Knowledge of PTW, LOTO, EHS, and electrical safety procedures.
  • Willingness to work at heights and in outdoor environments.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites and company offices as required.
