  • Our company is an Industrial/Manufacturing/Controls Engineering Firm that works with many of the largest automotive suppliers in the world!  One or our largest accounts is with General Motors. They have informed us that 2026 should be a year of adding in many new roles as they continue to grow.  One of their most urgent roles would be that of a Industrial Engineer with material flow experience. They have needs at multiple locations.  We are reaching out to interested Industrial Engineers with education and background experience that would like the chance to join one of the most-coveted OEM’s out there!
  •   The majority of these roles are at least 1-2 years long and TPT can aid with relocation assistance, any sort of sponsorship along with great benefits including a John Hancock matching 401k, BC/BS PPO Plans and Vacation/Holidays!  


 
 Job Responsibilities:

Experience in the design and implementation of materials storage, containerization and material handling equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Plan for every part (PFEP) development.

Direct and Indirect labor analysis

Fork truck and material handling equipment utilization and optimization

WIP analysis and reduction

Design of material pull systems (Kanban)

Determine appropriate min/max level for warehousing of parts to support an assembly process

Line stocking requirements and material presentation in assembly cells

Kitting and Supermarket strategies to support production

Containerization and dunnage specifications and recommendations

Autocad skills

Auto assembly exp is a plus


 
 Skills:
 • Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability.
 • Team player and detail oriented.
 • PFEP (Plan for every part)
 • Autocad, plant floor layout
 • Kanban, kitting, supermarket is preferred.
 • Exp with AGVs is a plus.
 
 Education/Experience:
 • Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
 • 2-4 years experience preferred
