Job Description:
Title: WIOA Youth Workforce Connector
Classification: Non-Exempt
Salary: $48,000/year
Scope of Position: Build relationships with agencies, educational institutions, and community-based organizations to connect youth and young adult participants to available services and to aid individuals who need further assistance.
Essential Functions
- Build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with agencies, educational institutions, and community-based organizations
- Ensure concise and timely case management of all participants by completing required documentation and updates in CWDS and other designated systems of record
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individual Service Strategies (ISS) aligned with customers’ educational and career goals
- Provide career counseling, labor market information, and referrals to supportive services
- Manage a caseload of youth participants by tracking participant progress toward education, training, and employment outcomes by updating records, submitting required case notes
- Ensure timely and accurate case management by maintaining participant records and ensuring compliance with WIOA youth program requirements in CWDS and other designated systems
- Conduct intake, eligibility determination, and case management when appropriate
- Provide information to participants interested in educational training, create required individual Training Account documentation, and submit all completed materials for review and processing
- Recruit applicants through outreach strategies including satellite sites, job fairs, schools, community organizations, and referral partners
- Communicate with other departments and management to resolve problems
- Facilitate workshops and coordinate onsite presentations by community partners on topics relevant to customers’ needs
- Meet performance criteria on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis
- Act as liaison between various departments to meet customer needs

Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma required; associate degree or some college preferred
- Demonstrated telephone, computer, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining flexibility to meet contract and operational needs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Regional travel is required
- Able to work fully onsite, fully virtual, or in a hybrid environment
- Clean driving record, valid Driver’s License, and reliable vehicle required
