DESCRIPTION:

Position Summary

The Commercial Room Leader / Lead Packaging & Labeling Technician leads day-to-day pharmaceutical packaging and labeling activities within an assigned production room. The role combines hands-on manufacturing responsibilities with floor leadership, ensuring operations are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in compliance with cGMP, SOPs, batch records, and quality requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:
• 4 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or regulated industry
• Preferred Fields of Study: Science, engineering or related technical field
• Leadership experience preferred with ability to train, mentor and guide team members
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, SOPs, and quality systems
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
• Proficiency with computers and manufacturing systems (SAP, etc.)
• Strong mathematical skills for calculations, measurements, and reconciliation
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to work in various environments including clean rooms, cold rooms (-20°C to 8°C)
• Vision requirements: 20/40 corrected vision, color vision discrimination
• Ability to work overtime and various shifts as needed
• Experience with automated packaging equipment preferred
• Ability to wear required PPE including respirators, safety glasses, clean room garments
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
