Mill Springs Academy is seeking a passionate, collaborative Lower School (K-5) Teacher to inspire and support students with learning differences in a dynamic, student-centered environment. We are looking for an educator who values differentiated instruction, builds strong relationships, and is committed to helping every child discover their strengths.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction.

• Create a positive, inclusive classroom that supports academic and social-emotional growth.

• Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with families.

• Collaborate with colleagues and specialists to meet individual student needs.

• Foster executive functioning, confidence, and independence.

• Participate in professional development and school community activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's preferred).

• Minimum of 3 years of elementary teaching experience.

• Special Education background or endorsement preferred.

• Orton-Gillingham training or experience strongly preferred.

• Experience working with students with learning differences is a plus.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.

• Proficiency with Google Workspace and educational technology.
