Job Details: Job Location: 731 N TAYLOR - AMARILLO, TX, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: High School, Salary Range: $15.00 - $16.00Hourly, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Insurance, A Claims Support Specialist is responsible for assisting claims analysts and the claims department by managing claim files, communicating with providers, updating databases and ensuring all necessary documentation is in place for claims processes.  This position will include credentialling/contracting back up, provider refund support, calling on overpayments, and various other tasks as needed.Qualifications: Qualifications include: High School Diploma or equivalent Strong data entry skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to adapt to claims paying software Ability to multitask Problem solving and critical thinking Knowledge of insurance practices, ICD coding, medical terminology is a plusMust be able to correspond with team members and providers in a professional, courteous manner.  Team collaboration is required.  Must be able to appropriately and efficiently manage one's duties and time.
