Mortenson is seeking a seasoned Project Manager - OFE Manager to provide overall leadership and direction for construction projects, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, timeliness, and financial performance. This role requires a proactive, adaptable leader who can mentor teams, manage complex projects, and build strong client relationships through excellent service and communication.Â

RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
Lead project execution from design through completion, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budgetÂ
Prepare proposals, support pursuit presentations, and participate in contract negotiationsÂ
Develop and maintain accurate project financials, including projections, billing, and cost controlÂ
Allocate project estimates into financial systems and manage cost codes and invoicingÂ
Oversee subcontractor and supplier selection, contract buyouts, and billingÂ
Manage and mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers, including performance feedback and developmentÂ
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and on-site representatives, resolving concerns and fostering long-term relationshipsÂ
Manage change orders, ensuring timely submission and approvalÂ
Ensure compliance with Mortenson’s safety, quality, and risk management standards Â
Promote an inclusive work environment and uphold Mortenson’s values and ethical standardsÂ
Provide leadership that supports team collaboration, accountability, and high performanceÂ
Â
QUALIFICATIONSÂ
Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experienceÂ
Minimum 7 years of construction management experience on large-scale projects ($20M+)Â
Demonstrated success managing complex projects with multiple stakeholdersÂ
Strong financial acumen and experience with project budgeting and forecastingÂ
Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management softwareÂ
Knowledge of construction law, business practices, and contract managementÂ
Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skillsÂ
Ability to travel overnight up to 100%Â
Valid driver’s licenseÂ

The base pay range for this role is $132,100 MIN - $198,200 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).Â

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.Â
