Maintenance Mechanic II

We are currently seeking a Full Time Maintenance Mechanic to join our enthusiastic team at Artman!

Key job responsibilities include:

• Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances using hand tools and testing instruments to supply electrical power for lighting and equipment operations in a continuing care community.  Work will involve alterations and construction.

• Inspect and test electrical lighting, signal, communications, and power circuits and equipment as per policies and procedures.
• Repair electrical circuits and equipment as per work orders.
• Demo and install kitchen cabinets, hot water heaters, and garbage disposals as needed.
• Replace faulty switches, sockets, plugs, fuses, insulators, and other simple elements of electrical systems, fixtures, and appliances as per work orders.
• Responsible to drive so as to make deliveries and pick–ups as required.
• Perform snow removal when requested.

Shift Available: 

• Full-Time  8:00am-4:30pm with on call every fourth week.

Education and Experience:

• Trade or vocational school graduate.
• Completed four year apprenticeship or equivalent experience and two years’ commercial experience preferred.
• HVAC repair experience.
• Building maintenance experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
