Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner Job Near Anchorage AK

Full-time Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner needed for an inpatient behavioral health center. Deliver comprehensive medical care for patientsages 5 and older. Work closely with an interdisciplinary mental health team toensure high-quality patient outcomes. 

JobDetails:

• 7 days on w/7 days off block schedule; 10-hour shifts
  
• Complete initial medical evaluations & H&Ps w/in 24-hrs of admission
  
• Provide follow-ups, diagnostics & discharge planning
  
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists & support staff
  
• Educate patients and families on medical conditions, medications & lifestyle changes

WhatWe’re Looking For:

• ActiveAlaska NP/APRN license or ability to obtain
  
• Graduateof an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  
• AANPCBBoard Certification
  
• Minimum1 yr inpatient or acute care exp preferred (behavioral health a plus)
