This role plays an important part in assisting customers with the secure storage and handling of their belongings while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced airport environment.   Position Overview   The Storage Agent is responsible for assisting customers with storing their belongings, properly labeling and tracking items, and maintaining organized storage areas. This position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to safely handle and move stored items.   Essential Functions   Store customers’ belongings in designated storage areas Enter charges and collect customer information in the computer system Label, tag, and clearly mark every stored item Inspect the outside of all items before storage Assist customers and answer any questions they may have Safely lift and move items into assigned storage locations Perform additional work tasks as needed Complete other duties as assigned   Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities   Knowledge of storing and rotating items within a storage or stocking system Ability to work effectively with others as part of a team Strong communication and customer service skills Basic computer skills for entering and tracking information   Required Education and Experience   Required: High School Diploma or GED Required: Basic computer operation skills Preferred: Experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse environments Required: Completion of on-site training   Working Conditions   Work performed primarily indoors Willingness to work in and out of walk-in freezer environments Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds When objects exceed 50 pounds, work with coworkers to move items safely as a team Frequent and consistent squatting, bending, and lifting required   Apply Today   If you are reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to work in a dynamic airport environment, we encourage you to apply today and join the Huntleigh USA team at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC).
