Phillips Academy seeks an adjunct music instructor in Trumpet for the 2026-27 school year. Qualified candidates will have the ability to teach and perform in a variety of musical styles and are also able to help students build their skills for solo, chamber and ensemble musical settings. We seek candidates who are interested in teaching a wide range of skill levels, from beginners with no previous training, to advanced players interested in pursuing music performance in college. The Instructor in Trumpet will teach individual lessons and coach students within and perform with both classical and jazz large ensembles. Additional duties may include coaching chamber music and small ensembles.
